Shoshana Aliza Driller

I have identified as an artist since I came out of the womb. It’s what I do – I’m a maker. Some people enjoy long walks on the beach, I enjoy long hours making in a supportive community surrounded by nature and a pile of material to play with.
Shoshana Aliza is a mixed media artist known for her layered, floral inspired paintings. Her work often includes symbolic painting, stencil, gold leaf, metallic pigments and found objects. She paints on canvas, cardboard, fabric or whatever inspires her in the moment. Nature is her muse for her intuitive and meditative compositions. She has recently begun exploring painting on ceramics and teaching at Studio 89. She is a retired Art teacher who, after a full career, is enjoying life as an artist, nature lover and painter.
